A static code can’t stop working. The content is stored in the pattern itself, so there’s no server to turn off and nothing for us to expire. A dynamic code runs through our servers, so it works as long as your plan does. We show you which kind you’re making before you make it.

No. Pick a shape and color, download the PNG, and you’re done. Free accounts are coming soon, and they’ll add logos, frames, gradients, SVG files, and saved codes.

A static code holds its content directly, so it’s free and permanent but can’t be changed or tracked. A dynamic code holds a short link that redirects, so you can change the destination after printing and count scans. Static codes work today. Dynamic codes are coming soon.
